Hydraulics and installation
Installation: In multi-boiler systems, the minimum distance between the boilers can be reduced to 120 mm by using the intermediate plate.
Example hydraulics: Both boilers are connected to a central accumulator. By means of HDG accumulator management, the lead boilers change automatically.

Depending on the applicable funding programmes and individual eligibility, financial support may be available when replacing an oil heating system with a pellet boiler. The potential benefits of switching should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Powerful, demand-oriented and safe
For higher heat output requirements, HDG heating systems can be combined in a cascade configuration. The advantages of a cascade solution include a wide output range, reliable operation and heat supply tailored to demand, particularly where energy requirements fluctuate. With HDG, a cascade consists of two boilers connected to a common accumulator.
The HDG Compact cascade combines the output range of larger boiler systems with the flexibility of a multi-boiler configuration.
Adapted to heat demand
A cascade system is designed to match heat output to current demand. When heat demand is high, both boilers can operate simultaneously. When demand is lower, the boilers can operate alternately. This alternating operation can reduce operating hours per boiler and lower the thermal load on individual components, which can support their service life.
HDG cascade management
Using the HDG accumulator management system, the installed boilers are alternately assigned the role of lead boiler. As both boilers are designed to operate independently, one boiler can continue operating if the other is unavailable, subject to the system configuration and operating conditions.
Service during operation
Maintenance work can be carried out on one boiler while the second boiler remains in operation, provided system conditions allow this. If one boiler is unavailable, the second boiler can continue to supply heat to connected heating components within its available capacity.

Flexible storage technology for every area of application
With pellets, heating is convenient – including with regard to the storage of the small pressed wood pellets. Regardless of the structural conditions, a pellet boiler can be set up in almost any building thanks to HDG's flexible discharge technology – not only that, but it can be perfectly tailored to individual needs.
- Pellet mole: Ideal for individually planned fuel storage rooms and particularly quick to install. There is not usually any need for a sloping floor.
- Pellet suction probes: Most common storage system, because individual rooms are fully utilised. Variants with up to 8 probes are possible.
- Pellet fabric silo: Prefabricated pellet store, which is quickly installed without much planning effort. Can also be placed directly next to the boiler if no extra fuel storage room is available.
